You don't need any of this. It is here for when you are curious.
- The waiting room
- Where you begin. Hold the screen and the flower in the middle opens.
- The vortex flow
- You fall into the flower and down the vortex to the first work. From there the works flow into each other, one at a time, on the rhythm of a slow breath.
- Going deeper
- The longer you stay still, the deeper it goes: stronger currents, afterimages, the pattern spilling past the edge of the paper, and the effects coming in one by one. Now and then the flow lets go and a work stands still for two breaths. While you touch the screen it stays where it is.
- Steering
- Drag to push the flow and turn its colours. Hold on a work to land on it, double-tap to open it with its price and story, swipe sideways to move on.
- Sound
- The B-ART STARMAN playlist plays from SoundCloud. Or choose a sound that is made live in your browser: meditation, jungle, chakra & throat singing, the nine solfeggio tones, elves, ambient, drone, or all of them drifting into each other. The image moves with the music. Choose at the start or with the sound button. Headphones help.
- Settings
- The sliders button in the flow lets you make it your own: a journey of 7, 15 or 30 minutes that ends on the work you stayed with longest, which effects appear and how they come, the sound, the depth and the pace. Your choices stay in your browser.
- The still gallery
- All works side by side, without movement, with zoom, sizes and prices.
- The lens
- Open the lens on your phone and point the camera at a work: the original, a print or a screen. The lens takes a snapshot, the work comes alive on the paper, and after a few seconds the work itself turns into a vortex that pulls you into the gallery, where its flow continues.
- Your screen, camera and microphone
- Nothing flashes. The screen stays on while you look. The camera image never leaves your phone. If you let the image listen through the microphone, the sound is only measured on your phone, never recorded or sent.
